APCOM, a leading global manufacturer of reliable water heating and appliance components, is seeking a Production Operator for its facility in Franklin, Tennessee. The Production Operator will initiate manufacturing operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes. The company has grown significantly since its founding in 1969 and now manufactures 75 million parts annually, with a strong focus on quality and safety standards.Responsibilities

• Manufacture water heater components per department standards
• Cross train on operations in each department
• Follow quality and safety standards during production
• Operate automated machinery and perform troubleshooting tasks to increase machine uptime
• Read blueprints and use a tape measure as required
• Wear specialized PPE as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain physical stamina for repetitive movements up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or move heavy objects up to 50lbs unassisted
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maximize efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
