Production Materials Coordinator - 2nd Shift - Hallmark Cards : Job Details

The Production & Materials Coordinator understands production plans for the facility and provides production support including prepping tickets, completing scheduling cards and adjusting production orders as needed. Completes a pre-production check to ensure data integrity and identifies workflow issues through the operation, including QN's, master data change requests, etc. The Production & Materials Coordinator is responsible for raw materials availability and management. This includes counting and managing PS - As, researching and resolving component or raw material issues (excess or shortages). The position will work to optimizes inventory levels for raw materials and if needed, facilitate expediting materials for exceptions. This position is also responsible for consulting with buyers and revising existing MRP settings and determining when changes are needed. Conducts dead/slow moving stock analysis and makes recommendations.
