Major Focus: Manage all activities and production personnel associated with the Value Stream, ensuring strategic growth, improvement, accountability and performance. Key responsibilities:
Achieving annual operating goals set by the operations directors, related to Delivery, Quality and Productivity. Supervision and development of value stream employees. Creating a culture of responsibility and ownership. Oversee all operations in department to maximize capacity and efficiency. Major Challenges: Successful communication across shifts and handoff of tasks Driving improvements in daily operations while maintain delivery metrics Fluctuations in product mix and volumes in production requires detailed planning. Expected Performance Outcomes: Safety: Safety issues identified and addressed in a timely manner. Complete and accurate reporting of incidents and near-misses. Zero recordables. 100% compliance to all required safety training. Quality: Zero customer returns due to Quality. Delivery: 98% Customer OTCRD. Productivity: Drive year over year cost out reductions through Quality, training, cycle time optimization. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing 2-5 years technical or leadership experience (with degree) or 10 years without degree. Proven success in problem solving and completing projects. Proficient in use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Technical Skills/Knowledge: Manufacturing processes and equipment Knowledge of production and testing equipment Technical problem solving Continuous Improvement mindset Personal Attributes: Able to motivate and lead a diverse workforce Possesses a can-do attitude with a dedication to completing priorities Multi-tasks effectively
