MacLean Power System - Newberry is looking for a Production Manager - Fiberglass Crossarm

We are seeking a self-directed and innovative Production Manager to join our Management Team, with a dedicated focus on Transmission and Distribution Fiberglass Crossarms serving the electrical utility market. This role oversees daily operations of one or more assigned production areas.

Job Duties

• Ensure that output of assigned area(s) meets established schedules or quality goals, manage a team that is responsible for operating production machinery, assembling items, performing quality control or packaging goods for shipment
• Ensure that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately
• Collaborate with R&D, product development/engineering, facilities management or maintenance, customer service, or other functions to ensure that organizational goals regarding safety, efficiency, quality and profitability are met
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

Required:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
• Perform complex tasks typically following established processes
• Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
• Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures; may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change
• Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience
