Offensive Coordinator – Production Planning & Scheduling

Location: South Bend, IN

We're looking for an Offensive Coordinator—a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can master production planning, scheduling, logistics, and supply chain management. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the COO, designed to drive our operations to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement master production schedules aligned with demand. Anticipate and adjust to maximize line performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage procurement, and generate weekly demand reports to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Logistics & Shipping: Manage transportation scheduling, evaluate vendor rates, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Production Monitoring: Track performance, identify bottlenecks, and make quick, accurate adjustments to keep operations moving.
  • Team Leadership: Support and inspire schedulers, shipping personnel, and operators. Earn respect through collaboration and accountability.
  • Data & Process Optimization: Use advanced analytics and ERP systems to identify opportunities for improvement, cut waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to align schedules, production goals, and customer priorities. Build trust and gain buy-in for continuous change.
  • Safety & Quality: Uphold high standards and act decisively to maintain a safe, quality-driven work environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Operations Management
  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations management (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and ERP expertise; strong ability to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Financial background or business acumen is a plus.
  • Competitive, flexible, and driven mindset with a sense of urgency
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Passion for manufacturing and working with people.
  • Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  • Must be hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is an in-person position in South Bend, IN RELOCATION AVAILABLE
