Production Manager - Apex Placement & Consulting : Job Details

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Greenfield, IN looking to add a Production Manager to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to lead and manage daily production operations while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

· Monitor production, quality control, and maintenance activities to identify nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.

· Conduct root cause analyses to resolve recurring issues.

· Support the development and implementation of production process improvements.

· Lead daily team meetings to review safety protocols, production targets, and logistics.

· Document and lead investigations related to safety incidents and disciplinary matters.

· Participate in recruitment and hiring of personnel.

· Facilitate weekly safety and quality meetings.

· Identify opportunities to reduce costs in overtime, labor, overhead, and materials.

· Promote and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with PCI standards and the company's Quality Standards Manual.

· Collaborate with senior management, scheduling, sales, and project management to align production with project timelines.

· Maintain a strong, daily presence on the production floor to support operations and lead by example.

· Develop and deliver training programs for managers, supervisors, foremen, and laborers.

· Prepare schedules and material take-offs for upcoming projects.

· Coordinate material deliveries to meet production demands.

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (B.S.E.) or a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in the industry

· ACI Level 1 and PCI Levels 1 & 2 certifications required; PCI Level 3 is a plus

· Strong experience in developing and managing operational budgets

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; general IT knowledge preferred
