Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $91,404.00 to $110,000.00 annually, based on factors including education, experience, certifications, and location. Kerry also offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and retirement contributions (subject to eligibility).

What You'll Do

Our Olney, IL site produces white distilled vinegar with around 14 employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production team daily
  • Oversee direct spend related to production
  • Efficiently execute the production schedule
  • Develop and maintain SOPs in collaboration with site engineers
  • Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the production department
  • Communicate and enforce regulatory and Kerry standards
  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives
  • Manage the department within budget
  • Create a positive working environment focused on continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with HSE officers to ensure safety
What You'll Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering
  • HACCP and food safety experience preferred
  • At least five years of leadership experience
  • Experience in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of units of operation
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology
  • Experience in fermentation and oxidation processes is preferred
  • Union experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills, ability to hold employees accountable
  • May involve some travel
