Production Machine Operator - Ecolab : Job Details

Determining packaging material needs from pack sheet. Obtaining correct labels and glue. Also checking for proper RM code on other (cases, dividers, drums, bottles, pails, lids, caps, liners, etc.) supplied items, as necessary. Setting up filling machine(s), tapers, glue machines, scales and other equipment as needed. Support all packaging line changeovers inclusive of hook-ups, sampling, and line unit operations. Ensuring quality of filled containers in terms of proper weight and appearance including labeling accuracy, completeness and positioning, date code accuracy, legibility and position, container cleanliness, etc. Checking product and package appearance for any inconsistencies from specification. Unusual product or package appearance should be brought to the attention of the Team Leader immediately.
