Great Lakes Farm to Freezer is hiring! We have an opening for a full-time, hard-working, and energetic individual to join our team as a Production Line Associate as we expand operations at our facility in Caledonia, Michigan.

About Us: Great Lakes Farm to Freezer is part of the Tamarack Holdings family of companies, partnering with small to mid-size farms around the Great Lakes to harvest the season's freshest produce at the peak of ripeness for quality you can see, taste, and trace. Our team preps, flash-freezes and packages every fruit and vegetable bite to maintain its ideal shape, color, freshness, and taste.

What you'll do: The Production Line Associate operates and maintains food manufacturing equipment along with packaging product to ensure our customers receive the highest quality food and products to support a healthy food culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production line equipment that sorts, portions, packages and labels produce; ensuring quality and production standards are met and cleaned to specifications while following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Understand company goals and deliver key performance indicators and operational productivity within their shift.
• Inspects product and packages the products into boxes, wrapping and labeling for shipping in a safe and productive manner that ensures customers receive shipments undamaged and ready for consumption.
• Complete data and record entries in an accurate manner to ensure the tracking and transparency of our food products.
• Work in a team setting rotating between stations practicing good ergonomics.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be punctual, reliable and self-motivated.
• Understanding of safety protocols, including food safety, GMP's and OSHA regulations, is a plus.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
