Production Associate - Material PullerKirkwood, NY3 Months6:00:00 AM - 2:30:00 PM, Monday - FridayMust Have:a Forklift operatorRead/ interpret production tickets, perform visual quality checks, safely feed glue machine with material, basic math and ability to read tape measure up to 1/16 .JOB DESCRIPTIONOverviewPulls stock/specials slabs and transports material to and from designated areas as assignedResponsibilitiesRead and interpret tickets to build pallets of slabsOperate forklift to load and/or move materialsSupply production areas with needed materials from inventorySupports the manufacturing process through inspection and aid to machine operatorsCoordinates and requests material transfersInspect slabs for defectsRoute doors through manufacturingMaintain a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Handling/stacking requirementsRead/interpret schedules/ticketsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast paceStrong eye/hand coordinationStanding for long continuous hoursConstant attention to detail and accuracy of material placementConcentration on proper lifting and ensure floors are kept free of debrisRegular attendance and timelinessFollow all operational and safety SOP s as writtenOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferredPrevious work experience in a production environment, preferred1-2 years of forklift experience, preferred
