Production Associate (Crating/Packing) 1st Shift - Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions : Job Details

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for assembling wooden crates and loading glass into them/preparing glass for shipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned): Measures finished product or parts and fabricates wooden crate/container in the appropriate manner for shipment. Builds wooden crate around the product or fabricates the container and places product within. Proper use of woodworking equipment, hand and power tools involved in fabricating custom shipping containersincluding a nail gun and chop saw. Pack, skid, band, brace, cover, and weigh parts and/or the fabricated container as required. Daily inspections Look for any unsafe objects, check equipment, etc. Inspects product for any abnormalities, cracks, chips, etc. and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
