Production Associate - Assembly - Fortune Brands Home & Security : Job Details

ABOUT THE JOB - This role will will focus on door assembly while also being cross trained to perform entry level support functions throughout manufacturing, as workload deems appropriate. Ideal candidates will have related experience with similar products. RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform support functions in various departments, which may include some or all of the following:Assist other team members with physically moving/carrying materials from one location to another. Operate mobile equipment to transport materials as directed. Utilize hand tools to assemble small component made-to-stock parts (ex. hinges), while meeting or beating established production quotas. Prep rails by attaching all gaskets, basic hardware, and setting blocks to the rail for the assembly process. Pull materials for small part assembly and ensure electronic inventory records are maintained. Wrap accessories, as needed, for the Packing Department. Prep parts for the dip tank.
