Most importantly, you'll have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our customers.Location:• Our facility is located in Coxsackie, NY.• Reliable transportation to and from our plant is essential, as we are not located near public transit.Hours:• 20-40+ hours per week, depending on orders and volume• 4-12 hour shifts• 1st shift opportunity ONLY (no evening or overnight shifts)What You'll Do:• Assemble mattresses following established work instructions using various pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns).• Tasks include assembling Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units, applying specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units, foam-encased pocketed coil units, and final mattress assembly.• Inspect mattress components and finished units for flaws or structural defects.What You'll Bring:• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per day, including overtime as required.• Capability to lift heavy products or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer in overtime situations. Heavy loads must be team-lifted.• Production within the specified range is required to maintain the integrity of the make-to-order system.• Comprehension and adherence to work instructions and production tickets.• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions, communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management, and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment.• Safety-focused mindset in a Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement environment.• Work environment includes exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals.
