Production Architect - Data Center Facilities Design – New York, NYOur client is a Nationally ranked MEP Engineering Design firm that is a leader in the data center space. This role will be onsite at various Data Center projects during construction. They provide design and commissioning consulting and management expertise in Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities Space with the mindset to provide reliability, energy efficiency, sustainable design and LEED expertise when providing these consulting services for Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale Data Center Projects. You will maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large complex data center projects. Additionally, you will lead the cross-functional design disciplines in coordination with our MEP design engineering team and project managers.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated experience with providing input with design planning to development of construction drawings of data center facilitiesFocus on progressing technical design drawing packagesFocus on the architectural layout of the entire building and infrastructure including power, cooling, ventilation, redundancy and securityHave knowledge of all aspects from schematic design through project close-outAdvance drawings when given reference documents and/or detailed design criteriaFollow designs in the adherence to all practice standardsProvide construction administration services as neededTrack of RFI and Submittal responses for multiple disciplinesReview Submittals for conformance with drawings and specificationsProduce meeting minutes when attending meetingsCoordinate with other disciplinesWork directly with Project Managers, Designers and Principals in the conceptual development of project documentsWork in a team environment with people both internal and external customers / partnersWilling to work on aggressive deadlines when neededQualificationsRegistered Architect (RA) / or on the path of becoming oneTwo to Five or more years of experience as a Project ArchitectCritical Facilities / Data Center projects a Huge Plus (will consider other industries just not residential)Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or DesignProficient in the use of REVIT (a must) / Advanced Revit skills a huge Plus3D/BIM modeling and CAD computer modeling and rendering software a plusPossess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of drawingsAbility to visit client facilities throughout DFWAbility to travel occasionally to support project tasksActive involvement in the AIA is a plusSubmittal Instructions:Please apply directly by clicking the link below, alternatively you can forward your resume directly to: [email protected] applying, if you have further questions, you may call 973-###-#### and ask for Iggy.
