We are seeking an experienced Product Support Specialist (Logistics) to provide advisory & assistance services (A&AS) supporting a major defense program, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems. The Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC) provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected DoD operational requirements. The position is based in El Segundo, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and refine draft product support requirements documents.
  • Support cradle-to-grave development and sustainment.
  • Maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Assist in developing new technical order strategies aligned with changing Government acquisition strategies.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with stakeholders and maintain records and reports.
  • Apply principles and procedures of logistics support to complex assignments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, consulting with supervisors on unusual matters.
    • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience establishing product support strategies aligned with acquisition strategies.
    • Experience integrating system engineering characteristics with logistics and support elements.
    • Proven experience integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement, and budgeting strategies.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship is required.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with SSC and/or BC programs.

    Salary Range

    $92,000 — $145,000 USD
