Senior Systems Engineer LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to support our contract at PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. Position Overview:
  • The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise systems, applications, and databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Windows and Linux environments, automation scripting, and leadership capabilities to guide a small team of administrators. This role is pivotal in ensuring system performance, availability, and security across a mission-critical infrastructure.
Job Duties:
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems, applications, and databases.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Design and implement new computing solutions to meet customer objectives.
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems, applications, and database availability.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest/implement resolutions.
  • Maintain system security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and reduce manual intervention.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for technical issues.
  • Produce technical specifications and designs for future implementations.
  • Collaborate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Liaise with vendors, end users, and IT staff to resolve issues.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of Systems Administrators.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience with Windows Server administration
  • 3-5 years of VMware experience
  • Proficiency with PowerShell or other automation scripting languages
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with Red Hat Linux
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs and federal security compliance standards
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Clearable US Citizen that is able to pass a background investigation in order to obtain a federal security clearance.
  • IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) is mandatory.
