The Product Owner will serve as a bridge between our technical products or services and our customers. The primary role is to support the sales process by combining deep product knowledge with sales skills to help clients understand how Polywater solutions meet their specific needs. This role will work alongside our regional managers and representatives, providing detailed product demonstrations, answering technical questions, customizing solutions, and helping to design proposals that solve problems.

Essential Duties:

  • Create and modify technical drawings using SolidWorks. Maintain drawing standards and document revisions.
  • Interpret construction plans and engineering drawings to confirm configuration details; collaborate effectively with engineers and technical stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fire codes to ensure compliance with design and installation.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving in design applications and field scenarios.
  • Gain deep expertise in Polywater | Hauff-Technik products, applications, and installation procedures.
  • Engage with internal teams, Hauff-Technik staff, manufacturer reps, and customers as a collaborative team player.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess conditions, take measurements, and provide technical guidance.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation support, technical training, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage project documentation, including submittal packages, revisions, and change tracking using systems such as DocuWare.
  • Inspect incoming special products to verify compliance with specifications and project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to various audiences.
  • Work closely with the operations team to track shipments, verify order accuracy, and confirm configuration details.
  • Support project management from initiation through completion, including documentation conversion and standardization.

  • Demonstrate precise attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively to plan work activities that meet deadlines and achieve high-level goals

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other technical applications; ability to integrate or transfer files to other CAD platforms.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with commonly used CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawing software programs like Revit or Autocad is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex interactions with internal and external teams.
  • Experience in technical sales, construction site assessments, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • 2–4-year technical college or college degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, order management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical demands:

  • This position may require occasional travel to client sites or other company locations.
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on customer needs and project deadlines.
