Job Description :

The Product Owner is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional project/program teams from the design phase to the delivery of fully-developed products that are ready for customer use. This role involves frequent interpretation and independent decision-making to determine the best course of action. The Product Owner will monitor performance, recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions, and ensure timely delivery of products. This individual will also engage with customers to understand market needs, define product requirements, and contribute to the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through the design, development, and delivery phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and make recommendations for schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate facts and develop solutions to issues during the design and planning stages.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand market needs, define product requirements, and ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Feasibility Studies & Trials: Conduct feasibility studies, manage field trials, and identify product gaps.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure the product aligns with department, segment, and organizational strategies and operating objectives.
  • Decision-Making: Make decisions regarding work methods and processes with minimal direction and guidance, especially in ambiguous situations.
  • Status Updates: Provide accurate and timely status updates to functional leaders.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and work in an organization focused on enhancing consumer experiences.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 7+ years of technical experience, preferably in the Data Integration area.
  • Leadership: Minimum 5+ years of leadership, project management, and/or product ownership experience.
  • Passion for Improvement: A strong desire to contribute to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification: Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Azure Databricks and PySpark is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with Health plan Rx/Pharmacy divisions is highly desirable.
