We are seeking a Product Owner to join IQVIA Laboratories in Columbia, MD in a hybrid position.

As a Product Owner, you will lead the strategic development of the Labmatrix platform by managing the product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-value features that support sample tracking, consent management, and biobanking.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the Labmatrix product backlog to align with business goals and client needs.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories with a focus on life sciences workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clarifying Labmatrix requirements and addressing functionality questions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate progress and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with QA teams to validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and business needs.
  • Monitor product performance and use metrics to drive continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:

  • Experience with Labmatrix or similar life sciences platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira or other project management software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $69,600.00 - $174,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
