About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Product Marketing Analyst with experience in metal fabrication to support the go-to-market success of EG4's fabricated mechanical products, including enclosures and related hardware. This role will be responsible for analyzing and managing the 4Ps of marketing-Product, Price, Place, and Promotion-with a strong focus on using market insights to drive early-stage product strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of marketing analysis skills and technical understanding, along with the ability to work cross-functionally to shape product strategy, optimize market positioning, and support internal and external communications. Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Strategy & Analysis
- Act as the voice of the market by identifying customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive gaps-particularly in the metal fabrication plus energy generation and storage space.
- Partner with product managers and business leaders to recommend new product opportunities before formal product definition begins.
- Conduct ongoing market research to support business cases, product prioritization, and strategic planning.
- Gather voice-of-customer input through site visits, pilot programs, and sales collaboration.
- Define and track KPIs for post launch product success (e.g., revenue, margin, adoption, return rate).
Product
- Translate complex product features and technical specs into compelling messaging and positioning.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product design.
- Benchmark competing products and support positioning that highlights EG4's advantages.
Price
- Conduct competitive and market-based pricing analysis to support price positioning, profitability, and growth strategies.
- Recommend pricing frameworks that reflect market conditions, customer segments, and internal cost structures.
- Support promotional pricing programs in collaboration with sales leadership.
Place
- Evaluate performance across sales channels including direct, distribution, and ecommerce.
- Recommend go-to-market strategies based on customer segmentation and buying behaviors.
- Support sales enablement efforts with tools that improve visibility and effectiveness in key markets.
- Position products effectively based on features, benefits, and value proposition.
Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign content, product launch materials, sales collateral, and training resources.
- Contribute to internal and external communications including product briefs, spec sheets, website updates, and email content.
- Track campaign performance, generate reports, and recommend adjustments to increase engagement and reach.
Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to metal fabrication, sheet metal design, or mechanical product lines is highly preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in product marketing, marketing analytics, or product strategy.
- Solid understanding of the 4Ps of marketing and how to apply them in a technical or industrial setting.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing tools; experience with NetSuite or other ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
