Job Summary

The MenuWorks Product Manager will lead the development and execution of product strategies for one of Compass Group's most critical foodservice platforms. MenuWorks supports menu planning, ingredient management, and production workflows across sectors such as K12, Healthcare, and Hospitality.

This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker who can translate complex data and business needs into clear, actionable product plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the MenuWorks roadmap based on user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data teams to build smart, scalable features.
  • Lead discovery and delivery of tools like ingredient costing, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Break down complex problems and data into clear, actionable plans.
  • Manage deployment timelines and technical dependencies.
  • Ensure application functionality is compliant with USDA, allergen, and cost standards.
  • Use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience (bonus if it's in SaaS or foodservice tech).
  • You're fluent in agile and product lifecycle management.
  • You love turning complex data into simple, powerful insights.
  • Use analytical thinking, mathematical modeling, and formula creation to support forecasting, costing, and compliance logic.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, supply chain, or foodservice operations is a plus.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Travel: Less than 25% - perfect for those who love to explore while working.
