Product Manager - BayCare : Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for product strategy and execution throughout the software development lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product scope, and budget. Works closely with Operations, Clinicians and support to ensure successful product deliveries and customer satisfaction.

• Evaluate clinician, patient, customer and market to determine requirements for product enhancements, new products, and third party product integration. Establish the overall product feature list, document product requirements, and communicate product requirements to engineering.

• Participate and assist with writing business plans and roadmap planning, and they should ensure that delivered products support the company's overall strategy and goals.

• Gathering product requirements from internal (services, support and cloud teams) and external customers for the products assigned to the product manager.

• Researching market offerings. Working with Systems Analyst to translate user requirements into features and functions that will have broad value.

• Based on final user requirements creates EPICS (Features) and user stories that effectively guide Engineering and Development resources in the product build or product update of solutions and develop the requirements documentation required by the SDLC process.

• Ensuring the product supports overall corporate goals & strategies.

• Working with the IS Manager and the business to determine product priorities for roadmap planning.

• Working with the IS Manager to build business cases, when appropriate for new products.

• Working with Engineering using Agile processes to execute project kickoffs, estimations, sprint plans, sprint demo's and knowledge transfers to the business organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required - 10 years - Information Technology; Or - 10 years - Programming; Or - 10 years - Related Field.

• Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Masters - Related Field

• Creating Software Requirements Specification; Business Requirement Gathering; Functional Requirements; Implement Business Rules; Production Automation; System Monitoring; Database Management System; Object-oriented analysis and design; Software Estimation; Software Metrics. Preferred Specific Skills: Software Design; Software Prototyping; Software Testing; Software Process Improvement; Software Security.
