Product Manager - FedEx : Job Details

Job Description: Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Responsible for managing, developing and implementing marketing, sales and other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Evaluates market, economic and competitive factors affecting product performance and demonstrates ability to perform fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. Works with advanced data models and analytics. Prioritizing new features, orchestrates and executes product development. Executes new product development initiatives as marketing or overall development lead across multi-functional team. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Bachelor's degree or equivalency in product marketing, economics, business, or related field. Three (3) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent. Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis. Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills. Strong executive presence and human relations skills. Strong project management experience. Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Directly related experience may offset degree requirements. Master's degree in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research or equivalent, in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. More advanced degrees may offset related experience requirements. Must have 1 year experience with the following: Relational Database knowledge (Oracle); Programming Languages (SQL); Visualization Tools (Spotfire/Power BI); SAFe Agile Certification; Microsoft Excel; Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis; Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills; Strong executive presence and human relations skills; and Strong project management experience. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
