We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development of innovative products and features. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to manage the entire product lifecycle—from initial discovery and ideation through development and successful launch.The ideal candidate will be focused on delivering measurable product outcomes while executing the broader product vision. You will also be expected to contribute to the long-term strategy and roadmap, helping to shape the future of our offerings. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong passion for innovation, and the ability to introduce new technologies and approaches within a rapidly evolving industry.Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for the products across our platform, in line with our product strategy. Support product vision, strategy, roadmap, and full product lifecycle management in context of broader organizational goals and strategies.
  • Prioritize strategies and tasks based on evolving needs; generate buy in across teams and communicate effectively for full awareness. Present roadmaps, product enhancements, and recommended changes to senior management based on value and ROI.
  • Plan, kick off, and develop initiatives, collaborating across Engineering, Design, Sales, and Service
  • Manage projects for websites, web and mobile apps. Create clarity and structure in ambiguous situations
  • Monitors competition, identifies and analyzes significant market or internal data changes. Uses constructive thinking and innovative solutions to recognize trends and develop business plans.
  • Focus on user experience; conduct user interviews as needed to deeply understand user needs. Ability to ideate with design and engineering. Sketch wireframes, write clear briefing/requirements docs, and coordinate resources to action.
  • Defines success criteria and metrics for each release, evaluates in the post-launch phase, and leverages data to guide and influence future product/feature investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where process is fluid
  • Manages ongoing relationships with external partners and monitors industry for possible new partners
  • Collaborate with product, sales, service, marketing, and other internal partners to identify unmet segment needs and develop solutions that can increase satisfaction, productivity, retention, revenue, or attachment rate.
  • Collaborate with User Experience (UX) team on the overall strategic vision and participate in the design process to drive a cohesive strategy for the platform.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • 5+ years of experience in product management in a software company for a leading set of products in your respective industry - Required
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-functional collaboration across users, design, engineering, UX teams, and GTM teams - Required
  • Demonstrated experience navigating full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback, developing requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post launch execution - Required
  • Experience building 0-1 products - Preferred
  • Experience in tech start ups/scale ups - Preferred
  • Demonstrates analytical skills

  • Articulate and responsive to colleagues
  • Develops and delivers effective presentations

CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay for this position is $101,000 - $140,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.Live the Paychex Values
