SkyGrid, a Boeing Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds ground based high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of highly automated and autonomous aircraft. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services.

The SkyGrid team is looking for a Product Integration Manager to support and drive impactful customer deployments, assist in gathering user feedback, and seamlessly communicate insights to the Engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in process improvement initiatives, manage JIRA updates related to deployments and feedback, and provide support for international engagements as needed. You will also develop and nurture strong cross-collaboration relationships within the Product, Engineering and Programs teams to ensure smooth deployment execution. Additionally, you will conduct cutting-edge research on Advanced Air Mobility trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments, sharing your findings with the team to inform strategic decisions and innovation.

Performance Objectives:

Assist in initial product deployments and integrations, troubleshooting issues under senior guidance to ensure smooth execution.

Gather and document user feedback promptly, ensuring clear communication with the Engineering team and alignment with Product Requirement Documents.

Maintain accurate and timely updates in JIRA, tracking deployment status, issues, feedback, and release progress according to the Product Release Plan.

Identify inefficiencies in deployment and integration processes and contribute to documented solutions.

Support at least one international engagement, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.

Develop foundational collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Program departments, to support deployment goals.

Begin conducting research on Advanced Air Mobility trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments, presenting findings to the team.

Demonstrate proficiency in JIRA and Confluence by managing workflows, tracking progress, and contributing to Agile documentation.

Take on greater ownership of product deployments, independently troubleshooting common integration issues.

Establish a structured process for gathering and relaying user feedback, ensuring it directly informs product development.

Ensure JIRA updates remain consistently accurate, tracking progress and dependencies across multiple deployments.

Lead at least one process improvement initiative, identifying gaps and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in product deployments and integrations, troubleshooting issues under senior guidance.
• Gather and document user feedback, ensuring it's communicated effectively to the engineering team working with Product Managers on alignment to Product Requirement Documents.
• Own JIRA updates by tracking deployment status, issues, feedback, and release progress in line with Product Release Plan.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and helping document solutions, offering new solutions to gaps.
• Support international engagements and deployments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Program) to support deployment goals.
• Facilitate alignment with product development teams.
• Work with the Senior Product Integration Manager and the engineering team to ensure customer integration priorities are addressed.
• Ability to conduct research on Advanced Air Mobility trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developments and present research findings and propose forward-thinking strategies to enhance product integration.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence is required, with the ability to effectively manage workflows, track progress, and collaborate on documentation within an Agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in Aerospace, preferably in product management roles.
• Experience with aviation grade certified products.
• Software development knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong ability to write and refine user stories, ensuring the right story count and scope for software teams.
• Experience with JIRA for backlog management, tracking deployment status, and sprint planning.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess technical feasibility and propose practical solutions.
• Understanding of API integrations, and modern software deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth product integration and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe) is a plus.
• Additional certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer) or software engineering (CSM, PMP) are beneficial.
• Experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
• Experience working with Agile software development teams, ensuring product requirements align with engineering implementation.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and API integrations to support technical deployments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, and documentation.
