Product Development Engineer - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client, a leading toy and consumer products manufacturer, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join their team.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams including Design, Project Management, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Development Engineer

Location: NY, East Aurora

Pay Range: $29 - $35 per hour

What's the Job?

• Support the design and development of new products from concept through production.

• Evaluate preliminary product concepts to ensure functionality, safety, and manufacturing feasibility.

• Create digital and physical models to validate product performance.

• Document product requirements and provide feedback to improve designs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize engineering processes and integrate new technologies.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 0-2 years of experience in consumer products, plastics, or mechanical design.

• Knowledge of plastic part design, mechanisms, and injection molding processes.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling (PTC Creo preferred).

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
