Job Location : Binghamton,NY, USA
Looking to take engineering off the screen and into the real world? In this role, you won't just be designing — you'll be hands-on, walking the production floor, assembling products, running tests, and working directly with the teams that build what you create. One minute you're using power tools to take something apart, the next you're updating a 3D model to make it work better. This job blends digital design with physical problem-solving, every single day.
You'll use simulation tools to test how designs hold up under real-world conditions, refine processes to reduce waste, and help ensure everything meets high-quality standards — including occasional third-party testing. You'll also be part of developing product drawings that align with modern manufacturing methods and continuous improvement goals.
Expect close collaboration with teams across engineering, production, and sales. Whether it's figuring out how something fits together, supporting testing protocols, or ensuring a clean, inspection-ready finish, you'll be at the center of the action. Some travel may be involved for field issues or testing with outside agencies.
The right candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong CAD experience (both 2D and 3D), and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. You know how to read and create technical drawings, and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty to make sure your design actually works the way it's supposed to.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build, test, improve, and repeat — in a setting where engineering is as much about what happens on the floor as what happens on the screen. If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
