Product/Cash Controller - BizTek People : Job Details

Title: Product /Cash Controller

Duration: 6 Months

Location: New York, NY

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 10 days a month in the office (Thurs-Wed office/then rotate home Thurs-Wed)

Position Summary

A Cash controller that is responsible for analyzing cash breaks between ledgers and bank statements for various entities with focus on swap dealer entity. Knowledge of various Fixed Income products from bonds to derivatives. Operational and Finance background would be ideal.

Essential Job Duties

• Daily review of GL cash balances vs Bank Statement
• Generate Summary of breaks across currencies
• Investigate break with operations/IT/Finance
• Attend daily calls to find root cause of breaks
• Month end review of cash balances vs statements
• Balance sheet substantiation

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Product Control/Operation experience with Fixed Income Products.
• Knowledge of cash processes.
• 3-5+ years of product control experience
• Highly proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
• Accounting or Finance degree required
• Strong data management skills
• High attention to detail
• Fast learner and team player
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas
