Produce Category Manager -Area - US Foods : Job Details

Join us as a Produce Category Manager - Area (Dallas & OKC) at US Foods.

Location: Dallas & Oklahoma City (50% travel required)

Support the implementation of US Foods' produce category strategy across the designated area. Develop assortment plans, foster vendor relationships, and collaborate with sales and culinary teams to drive account growth and meet produce goals aligned with national strategies.

• Implement area-specific produce strategies in line with corporate goals.
• Analyze product assortment, identify growth opportunities, and optimize product penetration.
• Gather and report local market data, including trends and competitor insights.
• Coordinate product training, new product launches, and communicate product messaging.
• Support quality assurance, logistics, and inventory management to ensure product quality and delivery standards.

• Four-year degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of category management experience, preferably in food service or manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint.

This role offers an annual incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
