Procurement Specialist – Professional Services & IT

About the Role
A leading global organization is seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to support sourcing and procurement initiatives across Professional Services and IT. This highly visible role is instrumental in managing strategic sourcing activities, building supplier relationships, and driving long-term value—not just through cost savings, but also innovation, compliance, and alignment with enterprise goals.
This position spans a broad set of categories including consulting, contingent labor, technology services, software licensing, SaaS/cloud solutions, and complex IT initiatives beyond basic hardware/software procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes across professional services and IT spend areas—from market analysis to contract execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to define sourcing strategies
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts including MSAs, SOWs, renewals, and amendments
- Execute RFPs, RFIs, and manage vendor selection processes
- Identify and drive process improvements, cost optimization, and supplier innovation opportunities
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Use sourcing tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms) to manage procurement workflows and reporting
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally with exposure to both professional services and IT categories
- Deep understanding of SaaS/cloud contracts, software licensing models, and technology consulting services
- Strong experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree required (supply chain, business, or technology-related field preferred)
