Procurement Specialist - The HT Group : Job Details

The HT Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a client in Beaumont, Texas. Responsible for researching, sourcing, and purchasing necessary parts and equipment. This is a temp to hire position. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-5pm with pay $22hr+ DOE. No Per Diem

• Research & Sourcing: Identify and source parts and equipment required for operations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Purchasing: Manage and oversee the purchasing process from requisition to order placement, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate and implement cost-saving initiatives in the procurement process
• Must pass background - No: Felonies / Violence / Theft
• Must be reliable and dependable
