Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the procurement process for Summit Interconnect.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders for PCB-related materials.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies or issues and communicate delivery schedules and expectations.
• Research and identify potential suppliers/vendors for PCB materials, obtaining price quotations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
• Monitor and update inventory levels, assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
• Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
• Adhere to company procurement policies and procedures, including compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; a college degree is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience as a procurement assistant or in a related administrative role.
• Basic understanding of PCBs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing purchase orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
