Procurement Specialist

The employee will purchase production materials for Amax engineering projects, including but not limited to the following:

  • Memory – purchase memory products from Micron, Samsung, and Kioxia for AMAX's workstations, servers, and data center projects.
  • CPU (Central Processing Unit) – the most important component of a computer system, like the brain. It is hardware that performs data input/output, processing, and storage functions for a computer system. A CPU can be installed into a CPU socket located on the motherboard and can perform various data processing operations. It can store data, instructions, programs, and intermediate results.
  • Hard Drive – an internal or external device that stores data such as operating systems, applications, and user files.
  • SSD (Solid State Drive) – a vital PC and laptop component, the storage device for a computer that holds all programs, files, and data.
  • Networking parts – switches, cables, transceivers, NIC cards (network interface cards), etc.

    • Plan and purchase material requirements for customers, ensure the flow of materials for both ongoing production and developing projects; review and monitor inventory levels against sales ratios and forecasts, respond to changes in sales trends, and resolve production material shortages; place orders and follow up with vendors to meet sales demand and ensure on-time delivery; lead the global supply chain group to record purchase transactions accurately and provide internal reports and training materials based on historical and current data.
