Procurement Specialist - LaSalle Network : Job Details

LaSalle Network is partnering with an organization, a premier beverage distributor, known for their vast selection and exceptional service. With a strong reputation and a focus on innovation, they provide a diverse range of products to meet customer needs across various markets. They are looking to bring on a skilled Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist is part of the Corporate Procurement team and an important role in helping to maintain the company's Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) system. They will help the Procurement team by collect data and running analytics for the department. The role is a two-prong position which includes working as: Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) Specialist Work with the Ariba team to maintain & grow the Ariba P2P system. Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage user accounts and approval groups
• Maintain vendor relationships
• Assist with Ariba inquiries and problem-solving
• Create and update Punchout Catalogs, CIF catalogs, and Blanket Purchase Orders
• Ensure smooth transaction flow within the Ariba system
• Resolve invoice reconciliation issues, including variances in received quantity, price, amount, and tax
• Collect and analyze data from SAP ERP system
• Prepare reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint
• Support ad hoc projects
• Maintain Spend Analytics tool

Procurement Specialist Requirements:

• Must have experience in maintaining Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) systems. Must have experience in pulling data from ERP systems such as SAP
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with internal customers and external vendors
• Strong cognitive thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• including: o VLOOKUPS o IF Statements o Pivot Tables
• Capable of extracting & analyzing data from company's systems
