About the Role
Cornerstone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support a high-impact enterprise transformation project within the healthcare industry. This position will focus on contract separation and technology sourcing in support of a large-scale business unit spin-off. The successful candidate will work closely with sourcing leadership and legal teams to manage supplier transitions, negotiate new agreements, and establish a future-ready procurement model.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sourcing and legal teams to support the separation of enterprise technology agreements.
- Analyze existing contracts to identify dependencies, shared services, and obligations requiring disentanglement.
- Lead or assist in sourcing initiatives across technology categories including software, cloud, infrastructure, and telecom.
- Develop supplier strategies to support both the legacy and newly formed business units.
- Draft and negotiate contract terms aligned with the new entity's operational needs.
- Track progress using dashboards, reports, and trackers; escalate risks or dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Units.
- Contribute to the creation of procurement playbooks, templates, and interim processes for the stand-alone business.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, particularly in indirect and technology categories.
- Proven experience with software procurement, enterprise licensing agreements, and supplier negotiations.
- Experience supporting M&A transactions, divestitures, or contract disentanglement projects highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency with sourcing and contract management tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
