We are looking to hire a Procurement Manager II, BPSE - Flavors immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for categories and developing strategies to optimize cost, rationalize supply base, and bring value to the company while mitigating risk. Coordinates and leads strategy execution supporting direct and/or indirect spend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage procurement for categories globally. Lead negotiations to achieve optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation).
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure lowest overall cost while mitigating risk.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of markets, supply chains, and suppliers. Assist with make vs. buy decisions.
  • Conduct supplier reviews and participate in planning and forecasting to establish standard costs and explain price variances at the division level.
  • Support divisional projects and requirements with purchasing guidance & leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7+ years in Purchasing/Supply Chain with relevant experience
  • 4+ years in project management, executing or participating in large or cross-functional projects
  • Proven success in cost savings initiatives
  • Knowledge of industries and technical awareness in assigned categories
  • Understanding of McCormick's products and business
  • Systems capabilities to enhance supplier performance and leverage negotiations
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or equivalent Master's Degree

Base Salary: $86,390 to $151,220. Salary will be determined based on location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The role is eligible for McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan. Employees are also eligible for our Total Rewards programs, including:
