Job Description :
Join Thompson Thrift as a Procurement Logistics Manager and take charge of driving efficient material procurement and delivery across job sites. This critical role ensures the timely and cost-effective flow of inventory materials to meet project timelines while supporting our culture of quality and process excellence.What You'll Do:
  • Manage procurement and delivery of inventory materials to job sites.
  • Process purchase orders for materials and subcontract labor.
  • Monitor procurement, shipping, and delivery processes for all solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for competitive pricing and availability.
  • Communicate updates to Preconstruction Manager and Estimators.
  • Track material deliveries and proactively manage project material costs.
  • Maintain shipping documentation and ensure timely invoicing.
  • Assist estimators with accurate material cost application to estimates and change orders.
  • Coordinate material delivery schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Keep project teams informed on material availability and updates.
  • Provide leadership to procurement coordinators.
  • Maintain organized project folders with notes, technical documents, and quotes.
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years in a similar procurement logistics role.
  • Skills:
    • Effective verbal communication and negotiation.
    • Strong initiative, organizational discipline, and multitasking ability.
    • Proficient in problem-solving, analytics, and time management.
    • Knowledge of contracts, solid math skills, and cost tracking.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Procore, accounting, and purchasing software.
