Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business partners and functional leaders, identifying vendor management opportunities that balance risk and maximize value.
  • Lead and support strategic sourcing initiatives across technology spend categories; manage RFx processes and negotiate a wide range of technology agreements (e.g., EULAs, SaaS, cloud computing).
  • Direct contract lifecycle management activities, including evaluation, selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee vendor risk management by ensuring appropriate due diligence and stakeholder engagement; partner with business units to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage vendor performance and relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders to create performance improvement plans, resolve issues, and manage disengagements when needed.
  • Develop and lead negotiation strategies using tools such as cost/benefit analysis, should-cost modeling, and market research to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Audit teams to mitigate supply chain, contractual, and regulatory risks.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across business units; monitor satisfaction and drive alignment on cross-functional sourcing strategies.

  • 2–5 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
  • Experience in technology procurement (Software, SaaS, Cloud) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative solutions to complex sourcing or vendor issues.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; able to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills across internal teams, external vendors, and industry contacts.
