Position Title: Associate, Procurement

Department: Engineering, Procurement, Construction

Reports To: Head of Procurement, North America

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Associate. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our procurement and EPC contracting processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. As a Procurement Associate, you will work closely with various departments to support the execution of purchase orders and construction contracts for our North America solar and energy storage pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Contracting: support Request for Proposal processes for equipment and construction services, including the negotiation of associated contracts.
  • Market research: stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Logistics: coordinate transportation, storage, and delivery of equipment orders.
  • Budget tracking: track, forecast, and report on procurement-related cash-flows.
  • Documentation: maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.

Requirements and Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Writing, English, Philosophy, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience negotiating EPC, PV, or BESS contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word – in particular, experience with Word redline functionality is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
