Procurement Analyst - Tandym Group : Job Details

An established public health organization in New York City is hiring a Procurement Analyst to contribute to a transformative data modernization initiative. This effort is focused on strengthening the agency's data infrastructure and core capabilities to better address the city's evolving public health needs.

About the Opportunity:

• Location: Queens County (Fully Onsite)
• Schedule: 8-hour workdays with a 1-hour unpaid meal break
• Assignment Length: Through November 2026

Responsibilities:

• Issue RFPs and analyze bids, including cost and pricing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and procurement rules
• Prepare reports on procurement metrics and outcomes
• Advise internal teams on procurement strategy; collaborate with legal, finance, and program staff
• Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in fast-paced, independent or team settings

• 1 year of experience in Procurement or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
