This effort is focused on strengthening the agency's data infrastructure and core capabilities to better address the city's evolving public health needs.
About the Opportunity:
- Location: Queens County (Fully Onsite)
- Schedule: 8-hour workdays with a 1-hour unpaid meal break
- Assignment Length: Through November 2026
Responsibilities:
- Issue RFPs and analyze bids, including cost and pricing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and procurement rules
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics and outcomes
- Advise internal teams on procurement strategy; collaborate with legal, finance, and program staff
- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in fast-paced, independent or team settings
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in Procurement or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
