Job Description: *** This position primarily works on site in Placerville, CA *** POSITION SUMMARY The person in this position is responsible for support of Value Analysis with Marshall. This includes preparation and review of data pertaining to value opportunities and Marshall usage patterns. Monitoring cost performance measures, supporting VA leads, developing, and implementing best practice supply standards for VA. Serve as ambassador for VA practices and principles. providing structure and support for designing and facilitating product conversions through appropriate system governance based upon product impact, policy and procedure review and revision impacting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or a minimum of four years' experience in a medical center environment required.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) preferred
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience with Value Analysis experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory agency standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare Services (CMS), California Department of Public Health, etc.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and negotiation tactics.
Skills:
- Skilled in negotiating pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Strong data analysis skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships while protecting the company's interests.
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy.
- proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
