A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Procurement Agent. Position Type: Full Time, Contract Duration: 12+ months Contract Location: Kent, WA As a Procurement Agent, you will: Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
- Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Procurement.
- Interaction with vendors and consumers of metal, collaboration with logistics firms. Interaction with peers in finance, contracts, transportation, and strategy to maintain existing vendor relationships, and establish new ones.
What are the Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role?
- Excel Proficiency,
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP- preferred)

- Experience with metals or material science is a plus
