The salary range for this role is:

Responsibilities:

Ideal salary range is $75k-$90k and dependent upon experience.

This position will be either 2nd or 3rd shift depending on the need upon hire.

Typical hours will be 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:00am.

The Production Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven production processes by supervising teams, coordinating resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to drive team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production processing employees to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Monitor workflow, labor, equipment, and materials to meet daily production goals.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to support skill growth and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate production expectations and updates to the team.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when needed to minimize downtime.
• Ensure accurate documentation of production data, quality checks, and downtime tracking.
• Partner with QA, Maintenance, and Sanitation to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including safety, efficiency, and waste reduction efforts.
• Enforce company policies and take disciplinary action when necessary, in accordance with HR guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Certifications

• HS Diploma required, Bachelors' degree in business or related field preferred.
• Combination of equivalent work experience and education considered.

Years of Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisor role, with at least 2 years in manufacturing.

Skills

• Union experience is preferred
• Prior Supervisory experience.
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer PC skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
