The Processing Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining processes related to application and document processing in multiple software systems to ensure efficient operations, ensure compliance and mitigate risk in the Office of Student Financial Aid. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Develop and maintain expertise in Imaging System (Perceptive Content) to ensure efficient management and processing of documents. Must maintain a strong working knowledge of the software system, routing and processing rules, including the ability to write queries in Imaging system. Primary resource for troubleshooting imaging issues, to ensure that students' documents are reviewed in a timely manner. Attends ongoing training to maintain relevant knowledge of all federal regulatory requirements affecting constituents, guide and train colleagues as needed regarding verification related documents and regulatory changes, including support in imaging system, DocuSign and Student Information System 2. Develop and maintain technical expertise in DocuSign, building and updating forms, including tools that allow links to other systems. Must maintain a strong working knowledge of DocuSign form building and maintenance of incoming DocuSign forms. Responsible for managing conflicts between DocuSign and Imaging system and/or PeopleSoft. Ensure compliance for forms created, working closely with FA Counseling staff on this project. 3. Responsible for the supervision of Federal Work Study student employees which includes but is not limited to hiring, training, disciplinary actions, ending the student's assignment, etc. 4. Manage transfer student monitoring process with the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), manage the import/export of data through financial aid applications including COD, ED Connect, NSLDS and ELM, and troubleshoot errors. Manage interfaces with Grad School and Third-Party Payments. Ensure compliance and accuracy based on Financial Aid regulations. Evaluate and process PLUS loans in partnership with FA Counseling staff. Maintain strong working knowledge of Federal loan regulations and COD system to ensure efficient and accurate processing of PLUS loans. 5. Responsible for overseeing the outgoing communication process for routine and ad-hoc mailings, manage mailing of Missing Information Letters, returned mail, and other correspondence.
