Distribution Center Process Support Analyst/ Business Analyst
Position overview:
Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Process Support Specialist for a contract-to-hire position. In the short term, this role will provide hands-on support to our Distribution Center (DC) Process team, particularly by backing up current warehouse operations and systems specialists with minimal ramp-up. This role will also be involved in supporting the SAP EWM system implementation and may transition into a permanent role as a Process Specialist in the long run. Ideal for candidates, seeking a long-term opportunity to grow into a core process improvement and systems role within a global supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand/Familiarize with existing DC processes and systems.
- Work along with DC process specialists in day-to-day support activities.
- Support low-priority tickets or system issues for DC team.
- Document DC processes and help update work instructions as needed.
- Work with master data team to manage DC related master data (product weight and measurements).
- Support various DC processes including inbound, wave planning, AGV processes, shipping, dangerous goods processes, etc....
- Support EDI interfaces with 3PL DCs and other external parties.
- Identify process issues and suggest process improvements.
- Support EWM project implementation: system testing, data validation and system integration checks.
- Help with User acceptance testing, training sessions and cut-over tasks.
- Work with cross-functional teams (IT, transportation) to identify and resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement projects across warehouse processes.
- Involve in labeling automation, shipping optimizations, and KPI monitoring.
- In long term, take on more independent responsibility for process improvements, support issues, and ongoing system maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in DC operations or system support.
- Understanding of supply chain operations, inventory and logistics processes.
- Experience working with SAP WM or other warehouse systems as a business analyst or key user (SAP EWM experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with RF devices and AGV systems.
- Familiarity with labeling tools (e.g. Zebra Designer) and small parcel solutions.
- Comfortable with ticket resolution, process documentation, training and stakeholder interaction.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work hands-on in operational settings.
Additional Information:
- Contract position with anticipated length of contract of 12 months.
- Selected candidate will be paid through agency of our choice.
- Contractor can be located in either the Versailles, KY or Easton, PA areas.
- Minimal travel is expected.
- Anticipated start: September 01, 2025
- On-site work of 3 days per week
