Manage hourly workforce to meet safety, environmental, production, quality and cost goals of 11&12 Department: Responsible for on shift operations of 11& 12 department including safety, productivity, quality and reliability Enter work requests when needed Act as a liaison between quality needs of our customers and operator level decisions Responsible for employee relations. Provide coaching and development to hourly employees. Help to resolve employee issues. Ensure employees are properly trained and have tools needed to perform job. Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures. Work with other departments and direct reports. Any other duties assigned. Special Knowledge Skills: •Demonstrate ability to lead people •Supervisory skills •Strong interpersonal and communication skills •Knowledge of business and operation •Organizations skills •Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously •Prior knowledge of operation •Good understanding of Fourdrinier paper making •Prior work in union environment
QualificationsBS degree in either Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper, Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3-5 years paper mill experience
