Process Engineer, R&D Packaging Specialist - Phillips Distilling Company : Job Details

Collaboration with Internal & External Partners (60%) Works with internal and external partners to develop specifications, documentation, packaging test plans and plant trials. Works with cross-functional packaging technical experts to identify product line synergies, SKU rationalization, etc. Product Development (30%): Accountable for all packaging R&D related activities to support new and existing business objectives to include: Product development and review of packaging from concept/feasibility through commercialization. Design validation/plant qualification of all new and existing packaging designs. Submits technical reports for all related phase-gates project critical path activities related to packaging development. Develops databases for all packaging specifications Sustainability (10%) Conducts front end research and development on sustainable and/or innovative material alternatives that drive value to the company and enable achievements.
