Process Engineer - W.R. Grace & : Job Details

The Process Engineer is responsible for design, testing, troubleshooting, and overseeing implementation of process improvements focused on productivity. Additionally, they support others on the plant team with solving technical issues. The Process Engineer is part of the engineering team, reporting to the Site Technical Manager. This role is on-site at our Grace Curtis Bay plant in Baltimore, Maryland, a 24/7 365 chemical manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Develop expertise in plant processes and equipment to become a primary resource for troubleshooting and identifying improvement opportunities. Support process improvement projects from definition of requirements, through design, execution, and tracking the benefits. Conduct daily plant walkthroughs and inspections to assess process conditions and to identify and address issues. Work with Process Technology team to plan and carry out plant trials for new products and new processes.
