Key Responsibilities
Analyze, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for increased efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Lead and support new product and process introductions (NPI/NPI), including tooling, process flow, and documentation.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
Monitor and reduce process variation using Six Sigma, SPC, and other quality tools.
Develop process documentation including work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans.
Collaborate with design engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to resolve technical and process-related issues.
Support automation initiatives and evaluate integration of smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and support sustainability goals.
Evaluate and implement new equipment and technologies to improve production capability and reliability.
Required:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, assembly, and/or automation.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in the material handling industry or heavy equipment manufacturing.
Familiarity with hydrogen fuel cell technology, telematics, or automated systems.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
Experience with ERP and MES systems.
