Process Engineer - Epitec : Job Details

Typical Responsibilities

• Oversee activities from concept to PPAP, ensuring parts meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements through collaboration with packaging, transportation, business resources, supply chain, and other functional areas.
• Leverage Teamcenter and workflow tools to collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Development Engineers, identifying supplier sources for each Buy level part.
• Escalate supplier quality defects to Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs) for immediate containment.
• Implement supply strategies aligned with category management to develop, optimize, and integrate a world-class supply network.
• Manage quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned from quality defects are applied across the supply base.
• Drive cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and leverage supplier capabilities to enhance value.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain Engineering are accepted.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and computer-generated reports.
• Experience with 3D modeling or Creo.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter, Six Sigma Processes, and Should Cost Analysis.
